About Us
SMVA – Studentischer Motorsport Verein Aachen – is a passionate community of motorsport enthusiasts, creators, and innovators.
Our mission is to bring motorsport closer to students.
From high-level SimRacing and competitive virtual racing events to participating in real-world racing series, our goal is to connect students with motorsport on every level – nationally and internationally, across all disciplines.
We aim to build, develop and refine actual race vehicles, giving our members the chance to design, engineer and work hands-on on competitive machines.
In addition to classic racing formats, we're exploring the future of autonomous racing, combining real-time engineering with cutting-edge technology.
At the heart of SMVA is our community – a place where passion meets purpose. Whether on the track or behind the scenes, we actively support motorsport through voluntary work, technical support roles, and by fostering a space where students can grow. We’re not just about racing – we’re about building something that lasts.
